I started Embracelet in 2011. Earlier in the year, I heard a news story on how a soldier's funeral was protested. I was disgusted. Not only did that family have to deal with the trauma of losing a loved one, but even at the funeral, this person was disrespected. I thought about how terrible it was to give one's life for a country and, even in death, not receive respect. The goal of Embracelet is to raise respect and empathy for the military personnel. They give their lives for our freedom, so the least we can do is give them our respect.
For every Embracelet sold -percentage- of the proceeds goes to a scholarship fund aimed at military personnels immediate families.
If you share my vision, I urge you to connect with me and help make it happen! Together, we can make a meaningful difference-- for our families, our communities, and our country.
